We had our annual chili cook off/costume party in our neighborhood today. It is always fun. The kids paint pumpkins and run around while all of the adults stand around and eat very little chili but get alot of talking done. Here are some pictures of the kids in their costumes.
We went out a couple of weeks ago to buy Alex a costume. He is too big for the kids costumes and I refuse to pay $50 for an adult sized costume. He wanted to be a ninja when we first bought our supplies, but then he saw Speed Racer and changed his mind to Racer X for his costume. I duct taped some xs on his black sweatsuit and we were set to go.
I had to buy this costume for Annika when I saw it. I have had it since August.
