We were awaken this morning at 7:30 by the sound of tiny feet pounding back and forth across the floor in the hotel room above us. Obviously these people are (a) in some kind of training for a running event somewhere, (b) they have given their children Starbucks this morning, or (c) the parents are incredibly rude and insensitive people who are raising rude and insensitive children because an hour later they are still going strong. It wouldn't be that big of a deal except we traveled for 11 hours yesterday, leaving our house at 3 pm and arriving at our hotel in Kansas City at 2 am. Alex has slept through all of the commotion with only a couple of bad roll overs during the entire hour.
I wish I would not have told him to be quiet so much last night when we got here.
