(This is my favorite picture. I think that he looks very handsome in it, but he also looks old !!!)We had a neighborhood fishing derby today. This was the 6th annual derby. We have a beaver pond in our neighborhood and it is full of bass, perch, and pickerel, as well as ,what I guess is an expanding beaver family based on the size of their lodge.
Alex won two trophies. He won for the boys in his age group and he caught the biggest fish of the day (a 15 3/4" pickerel).
