AHHHHH!! Winter Break

Our winter break started yesterday. We spent the weekend in New York/New Jersey. On Saturday we hit the American Museum of Natural History (the dinosaurs were a big hit) and went to see Tarzan on Broadway. Sunday didn't leave the hotel room until 1 because we all slept in. (We went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch and sat next to a divorced couple who argued the entire time we were eating lunch. It was very uncomfortable to be sitting less than 3 feet from people who were fighting about getting cars for the children and where to send them to college. The man was especially unpleasant, pretty much calling his daughter as sl*t at a couple of points.) That evening we went to David's uncle's restaurant and met up with our friends Stu and Janine and their kids. Yesterday we drove up and visited were we used to live. It hasn't changed at all in the last three years. It is amazing that it never changes there, that is one of the reasons that we moved from there.

Now that we are home I have big plans to get organized and possible do a little sewing. First on our list for today is doctor appointments for Alex and I. He has a horrible cough that won't go away and I think I may have pink eye. Tomorrow morning is the big fingerprinting renewal appointment.
