Quilts

I am currently working on two quilts. The first one is going to hang on the wall in our family room. I started it before we moved to New England back in May 2004. All I have left to do is sew on a hanging sleeve and the tag.

This is one of the individual squares. There are 9 of them sewn together to make the quilt.

This is the quilt that I have made to be Annika's quilt in her bedroom. The top is finished and know I need to quilt it. I am going to bind it (binding is the fabric that covers the edge around the outside of the quilt) in hot pink and the back is going to be pink striped flannel (it's the best to snuggle with).

Do you like the black border? It has different colored dots that match the other fabrics in the quilt.

Next up is a bedskirt and curtains for the nursery (and curtains for Alex's bedroom) and then its on the 100 wishes quilt.

Carrie, both of your quilts are nice and bright and colorful. I really like all the secondary patterns that are formed by the red yellow and blue one.

Wow-za! Umm, can you do mine? I have them neatly in an envelope. Every now and then I take them out and gaze at them, but they might as well be complicated equations for I have not a clue what to do with them.
