O'clock

Tonight Alex was telling us about how he was learning to tell time at school. He told us what the clock looks like when it is 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock. So we asked him what time it was. He looked at the clock and said "It's not a clock so I can't tell the time". It took us a few minutes to figure out that he was saying o'clock, not a clock. He can only tell the time if it is "o'clock" (7 o'clock, 8 o'clock, etc.). We both just about lost it, but held it in. I actually keep a journal of things that he says that are funny so that we will remember it when he gets older. This one is going in the book.

Right now he is "hunting" our cat with a shoe lace, laundry basket, and floor pillow.
