The good luck elephants are having a party because we are DTC today. (My favorite is the one on the right). I got the email today during my block three biology class. I almost fell right out of my chair. I wanted to get up and do a happy dance right then and there, but couldn't bear the thought of a bunch of leering, laughing teenagers. We weren't expecting it until the week of Xmas since it generally takes four weeks for them to authenticate. It only took two weeks to get it finished(CAWLI Rocks).
(Just for those of you that are into the lucky ladybug, I just happened to wear my dangly ladybug earrings today. I didn't even think about it until my friend pointed it out to me at lunch. )
So after I called everyone in my family and a couple of friends, I headed to Babies R Us. There just happens to be on between my school and Alex's school (could become very convenient). I picked up this super cute and cuddly baby doll (I have been eying her for a couple months now, she is so soft) and a really soft blanket with daisies sewn on it.
After that we went out for the customary DTC Day Chinese dinner. I ate plenty of bean paste buns (Johnny, were they ever good, LOTS of bean), I made sure to have one for Annika. Then I rushed home to post the exciting news
