And apparently the world is coming to an end.
The temperature is supposed to reach 100 in Boston and over 100 here today. I guess this hasn't happened for four years here (or that is what they are constantly saying on the news). One channel is even having an hour long special about how to handle the heat this morning. My normal channel shows the temperature and the "feels like" temperature on the corner of the screen. The news people crack me up when it comes to the weather. Up here in New England it is a major event if the temperature gets above 90. When we lived in Texas (where it is usually above 100 in the summer) they would always doom-and-gloom it in the winter when there was any chance of ice (generally, they were wrong). I guess it just depends on your location.

Its been freakishly hot in St Louis! so hot that our air conditioner is struggling to keep up.
Global warming is only good when you live in Buffalo (we do). Other than that, it is the pits.
